Welcome to the series, Create a Four Page WordPress Website! This series is geared toward small businesses, but anyone who would like to create a four page WordPress website using a block theme is welcome to join us.

What we covered previously:

So far during this series, learners have:

• installed a block theme of their choice,
• found and downloaded fonts of their choice,
• installed fonts using a plugin,
• styled their website using the WordPress Stylebook,
• created a header,
• created a footer, and
• brainstormed quality content

This is session #3 - Design Pages: Create an effective home, about, & services page

By the end of today’s session, you will have created a home page utilizing patterns, calls to actions, key words, and built your credibility utilizing your thought organizer from lessons #1 and #2 from the course. There will be breakout rooms to help troubleshoot layout issues as we work on building our home pages. If time allows, we will move on to creating our "About" and/or "Services" pages. If time runs out, you will walk away from this session with the tools to create these pages on your own!
